The District provides rodent inspections to help residents reduce rodent issues in and around their houses.  If you would like a rodent inspection, please fill out a service request.

During the summer months, the District receives numerous calls regarding yellowjackets and paper wasps. These social wasps both have yellow and black markings and are common in San Mateo County, but they have important behavioral differences.

Public education is one of the most important parts of the District’s IPM (integrated pest management) program. Without the help of residents, it would be impossible for the District to achieve its mission.
