Story Times

A square orange table is covered in insects embedded in clear resin. Four children are at the table looking down at the bugs. One child is holding a magnifying glass.
Resin-covered bugs are very popular!

We love to join libraries or others in providing bug-themed story times to children!  We bring the books and our best voices to create engaging, interactive story times for young audiences.

Along with stories, we can bring:

  • Safe-to-handle resin-covered bugs and magnifying glasses
  • A mosquito aquarium to show the stages of the mosquito life cycle
  • Small items for children and adults to take home as a reminder of our District services

To schedule a story time reading, contact Public Health Education and Outreach Officer Rachel Curtis-Robles or call (650) 344-8592.
