Grace Shaw
Position: Seasonal Laboratory Assistant

Grace joined the District in 2022 for a seasonal summer position. Grace is finishing her Master's in Ecology, Evolution, and Conservation biology at San Francisco State University where she studies the impacts of habitat fragmentation on the distribution of several tick-vectored pathogens on the west coast. Grace has also worked in natural resource management with the Golden Gate National Recreation Area's Mission blue butterfly translocation project and previously as a rescue dispatcher with The Marine Mammal Center in the Marin Headlands. In her spare time, Grace enjoys being outdoors, playing soccer, and spending time with family and friends.
