Total service requests this February were right around the five-year average.
Dead bird service requests were twice the average number, mainly because of a continuation of a Salmonella outbreak among pine siskins, although those numbers decreased in the past few weeks.
The “Other” category of requests in February is also higher than average and includes requests regarding cockroaches, bed bugs, mites, and ticks.
